Divi Extension to List Posts Categories

Introduction

Divi List Posts Categories is an extension for Elegant Themes Divi theme which I have just developed.

This new extension adds a module to Divi builder which can create a list of blog posts categories. It is important to know that this Divi extension only works with WordPress posts and not custom post types.

A list generated by this module can look like this:

Once the plugin is activated, you will notice a new module:

Module settings can be found under the "Content" tab:

1. You can order posts categories by:

-- Category Name
-- Category ID
-- Number of Posts (blog posts under each category)

2. How to sort categories:

-- Ascending Order
-- Descending Order

3. Number of levels in the hierarchy (Default is 1. Use 0 for all levels).

4. Select the list type:

-- Unordered List
-- Ordered List

5. Show posts number. - this option will show the number of posts under each category (default is set to "no")

6. Categories to exclude. This option allows the possibilty to exclude certain categories from the generated list. You just need to add categories IDs separated by comma.

7. Open links in new tab. - this option allows to open category links in new browser tabs (default is set to "no")
